Hey Everyone!  I must say that it is wonderful being graduated, but very sad all at the same time.  I miss everyone so much, and I really don’t have many friends back home that are here.  I am trying to stay busy though.  I passed my last certification test I had to take for Texas so I am now a teacher.  (Who would ever thing that I would be a teacher?  How exciting!)  I am looking for a job in VA and in NC.  This is a definite prayer request.  Other than that that not much is going on with me, except that yesterday I bought a wedding dress.  Mark proposed on the 19^th of December.  So I know what you are thinking, here is the wonderful story.

                Well first we had been driving all day.  I was so ready to get out of the car.  We drove to James Madison University.  He took me to a beautiful arboretum.  There was snow every where.  It was so beautiful.  There was a frozen lake and a beautiful waterfall.  We walked through the snow and he pointed to an area.  He said look Christine, someone has written in the snow.  He had written on Friday “Will You Marry Me?”  Because the snow was like Ice it stayed over the weekend.  I turned around and he was on his knee getting it all wet.  I told him yes, of course. The ring is beautiful.  When we returned back to the car it was sunset, and they turned the Christmas lights on in the arboretum.  I was so beautiful.  When we got home he had roses waiting for me, Red and White.  Then we went over to Kimmy and Evans and watched White Christmas.  I love him so much and I am so excited about spending the rest of my live with him.  I am so excited.

It has been quite some time since I have updated.  I would have to say life is just plain crazy.  I think things will be better when I take my final certification test.  I have been very busy studying and trying to keep up with homework.  I had the idea that this would be my easiest semester, but I was wrong.  I am working a lot, but God is good.  I am very excited to go see Mark in a few days.  Today should be a relatively easy day, I just have work and homework left.  I hope that you have a great day.
